A good part about this book is when Jay goes to school on the first day. I like this part of the book because it isn't very predictable. I always thought something would happen to them and I was waiting for it! Instead of something bad happening to the boys they just started to make friends and playing basket ball together. They seemed to be enjoying their new friends and their new school. It wasn't long before the boys had made a plan to take turns going to school. I was able to tell what the book was all about after the first and second chapter. The foundation that the first and second chapters built carried the rest of the book, making it easy for me to understand.
